Static Guarding

What exactly is a security officer?

“A security officer is a person who is paid to protect property, assets, or people. Security officers are generally uniformed and act to protect property by maintaining a high-visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions, observing (either directly, through patrols, or by watching alarm systems or video cameras) for signs of crime, fire or disorder; then taking action and reporting any incidents to their client and emergency services as appropriate.”

Our security officer’s primary duty is the prevention and deterrence of crime.  They also enforce company rules and can act to protect lives and property. In addition to basic deterrence, our officers are trained to perform specialized tasks such as:

  • Project Griffin Procedures
  • Operate emergency equipment
  • Perform first aid, CPR
  • Take accurate notes
  • Write detailed reports

Our officers are trained to deliver excellent customer service and provide the perfect front of house presence that your staff and customers rely on. As each site is different and client’s needs vary, this is why we adapt our training to be site specific to ensure that the client receives the service they require.

Once on site, they don’t sit still as many imagine, they are constantly vigilant for breaches, cover the internal and external elements of the site, they save you money by checking domestic facilities (lights, taps & electrical items) to assist in reducing your environmental impact.
